⚠️ Critical Alert Settings

The trigger settings are CRUCIAL for proper alert functionality:

For Entry Signals (Buy/Sell)

ALWAYS use "Once Per Bar Close"

  • Ensures signals are fully confirmed when candle closes

  • Prevents false alerts from temporary price wicks

  • Avoids premature entries based on unconfirmed signals

For Exit Signals (TP/SL)

NEVER use "Once Per Bar Close"Use "Once Per Bar" or more frequent

  • Triggers instantly when price touches your levels

  • Allows immediate action on profit targets

  • Critical for stop loss protection

For Pre-Signal Warnings

Use "Once Per Bar Close"

  • These are early indicators, not immediate action signals

  • Helps prepare for upcoming opportunities

💡 Pro Tips

Unified AI Alerts

The AI Buy/Sell alerts (1.4 & 1.9) work for BOTH:

  • Standard AI mode with adaptive optimization

  • AI Sniper mode with precision entries

You don't need separate alerts for these modes - one alert covers both!

Alert Management

  • Name your alerts clearly - Include timeframe and signal type

  • Test alerts first - Use "Once" frequency to verify setup

  • Use alert messages - Customize with ticker, timeframe, and action

  • Consider multiple timeframes - Set alerts on different charts

  • Regular review - Update alerts as market conditions change

Mobile Notifications

  • Enable push notifications in TradingView mobile app

  • Configure email alerts for backup

  • Consider webhook integration for automated systems

Troubleshooting

Alert not triggering?

  • Verify signal mode matches alert type

  • Check "Once Per Bar Close" for entries

  • Ensure AI Optimization is enabled for AI alerts

Too many alerts?

  • Use combined alerts (Normal or Smart)

  • Increase sensitivity setting

  • Switch to higher timeframe

False alerts?

  • Always use "Once Per Bar Close" for entries

  • Avoid "Once Per Bar" for entry signals

  • Check for repainting issues on higher timeframes

Summary

Properly configured alerts are essential for successful trading with Infinity Algo. Remember:

  • Entry signals need confirmation (Once Per Bar Close)

  • Exit signals need immediacy (Once Per Bar or faster)

  • AI alerts work for both AI modes

  • Regular review keeps alerts aligned with your strategy

By following these guidelines, you'll maximize the effectiveness of Infinity Algo's alert system and never miss important trading opportunities.
